ANZIAM has several awards that recognise outstanding contributions to mathematics. These are:
- The ANZIAM MedalOur most prestigious award, for research, for advancing applied or industrial mathematics, and for contributions to ANZIAM.
- The EO Tuck MedalA mid-career award for outstanding research and distinguished service to applied mathematics.
- The JH Michell MedalFor outstanding researchers early in their career.
- The TM Cherry PrizeFor the best student presentation at the annual ANZIAM conference.
- The Cherry Ripe PrizeJudged by a panel of students, for the best presentation by an established academic at Applied Mathematics Conferences.
- Outstanding Service AwardHonours more than a decade of service in official ANZIAM roles, with membership for life.
- The KA Landman MedalFor outstanding contributions to industrial mathematics.
- The ANZIAM Outstanding PhD Theses AwardFor outstanding doctoral work in applied mathematics from an Australian or New Zealand university.
- The ANZIAM-AustMS LecturerAn early or mid-career member with distinguished research, invited to give a plenary lecture at the annual AustMS meeting.
