Postdoctoral Fellow in Bayesian Computation at QUT

Postdoctoral Fellow in Bayesian Computation at QUT

At QUT we are advertising a fixed-term Postdoctoral Fellow position in Bayesian Computation (2 years, Level B).

This position is funded through an ARC discovery project awarded to Chris Drovandi, Devid Warne, and Leah South at QUT with external collaborators at National University of Singapore (David Nott) and Oxford (Ben Lambert). The project will focus on Bayesian recalibration techniques using flexible transformations of surrogate models, with applications to computationally expensive stochastic simulators and models with intractable likelihoods. Applications will include challenging problems in biology, ecology and epidemiology, including large-scale agent-based models.
